Great Value Thin Crust Three Meat Pizza

Sometimes I think a cheap-ish pizza that’s not from Totino’s might be good. They’re not. Ever.

The crust on this pizza is tough, tasteless, crunchy, and just bad. The toppings are lacking, but not atrocious. For a cheap pizza, it’s surprisingly good cheese, which makes it at least makes it good enough for me to finish eating it, but really only because I’m hungry.

Little Caesar’s – Extra Most Bestest

Little Caesar’s makes excellent pizza for the price and speed that you can get it. The quality is fairly inconsistent, but it’s hard to complain about a $5 pizza you can get in under a minute. The Extra Most Bestest pizza improves on their regular Hot ‘N’ Ready, adding more cheese and pepperoni, for another dollar. At only $6, it’s a really good pizza. This one was a bit undercooked and had too much sauce for my taste, but was still enjoyable. Sometimes you just need a cheap pizza with a lot of cheese, and this is the best one around.

Pizza Hut – Supreme Stuffed Crust

Pizza Hut’s stuffed crust pizzas are amazing. I typically stick with just pepperoni, sometimes adding sausage or something like that, but I usually don’t add many toppings. This time though, Pizza Hut was running a 50% off any menu-priced pizza promotion, so I had to get something a bit more exciting. This is an excellent pizza. As usual, I went with the Hut Favorite seasoning, and the combination of toppings complemented the cheese in the crust really nicely.

Seriously just go eat some Pizza Hut. It’s good stuff.

Sam’s Choice Stuffed Crust 5-Meat Pizza

Still on the quest for a good stuffed-crust frozen pizza, I decided to try this one from Sam’s Choice. It’s pretty good! Overall it has pretty good quality ingredients, while the crust leaves a bit to be desired. It’s definitely better than the DiGiorno stuffed crust options, and is actually one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a while. I’d certainly recommend it.

Walmart Marketplace Pepperoni Pizza

I went into this one with fairly low expectations. Even up to the point where I was cutting the pizza, I didn’t think it was going to be very good. Surprisingly though, it’s not bad!

For $3.50 or so, this pizza is an excellent value. The amount of pepperoni on the pizza is more than that of even a typical Dominos or Pizza Hut double pepperoni pizza, and for a fraction of the price. The toppings and crust are definitely a bit cheap, but for what you’re paying, this is a really good pizza. Personally, I’ll probably stick with Red Baron as my go-to classic pepperoni, but if you want something cheaper and still pretty good, this is an excellent option.

Update:
After a couple slices, I could not eat any more of this. It was far too greasy and cheap tasting, and not in a good way like some pizzas. Just buy a 4-pack of Totino’s pizzas instead and you’ll be far better off.

California Pizza Kitchen White Recipe

I wasn’t sure what I’d think about this one. It has spinach and a selection of cheeses on top of a creamy garlic sauce, on a thin crust. The cheese sounds great, the garlic sounds okay, and the spinach… well I don’t particularly care for that. Oddly, it tastes fairly flavorless overall. Compared to a typical pizza covered in toppings, this one just kind of tastes unfinished, like it needed something more. It’s not necessarily bad, but it definitely isn’t the kind of pizza I care for. I’ll probably go eat something else instead.

Pacific Wheel Pizza Co. – Pepperoni and Sausage

On the Santa Monica Pier in California, there’s a little pizza restaurant that’s actually really good! For around $9, you can get an excellent personal pizza, with very high quality toppings and a pretty decent crust.

My sister tried the LA Dog from the restaurant next door and it looked amazing, so if you’re at the pier, you should maybe give both a try.
